VIDEO: Newly Single Sofía Vergara Lets Loose at a Concert

Sofía Vergara embraced her new single status and showcased her carefree spirit in a recent night out. The Modern Family-star released a series of photos and videos from her fun outing, including a clip where she shakes her hips at a concert.

She was surrounded by friends and family.

On August 20, 2023, Vergara dressed up to attend Karol G’s concert, which is likely to be her first without her former beau, actor Joe Manganiello. The 51-year-old actress was accompanied by niece Claudia Vergara, cousin Maria Vergara and friend Paulina Vega, among others, and her outing wasn’t complete without a group dinner and sharing her memories online with her fans.

On Instagram, Vergara made a few posts dedicated to the evening, including a surprising video where she happily dances to Don’t Be Shy by fellow Colombian Karol G, a song with lyrics such as “Can’t be tamed” and “Baby, break my heart.”

Vergara and Manganiello have been separated since July 2023.

The couple called it quits after being married for nearly 8 years. Magic Mike-star Joe Manganiello was the one who filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences, to which Vergara legally responded 2 weeks later. She asked a court to dissolve their marriage and uphold their prenuptial agreement.

According to a source close to the actress, their break-up was a long time coming. “They have been growing apart for some time now and tried to resolve things, but they are focused on different areas of their lives,” they revealed. It was also reported that Vergara’s love for partying might have driven Manganiello away.
