Actors in action movies stand out for their tough looks and the great physical aptitudes they show in the dangerous scenes they have to perform. As the years go by, they have to work harder to maintain the shape and figure that made them the admirable heroes we see reflected in their films.

Steven Seagal is one of the most recognizable action hero actors from the ’80s and ’90s, mainly for his roles in movies like Above the Law. He is also an expert in martial arts and has a career in music. But above all, Seagal has demonstrated his charismatic personality in all areas of his life and art.

Wesley Snipes stood out for his roles as an action hero in films like Passenger 57 or the Blade trilogy. Recently we were able to enjoy him in more comedic roles in Dolemite Is My Name, Coming 2 America, and even a dramatic one in the series True Story.

Kurt Russell was launched to fame as Stallone’s sidekick in Tango and Cash. He also appeared alongside Mel Gibson in Tequila Sunrise and as the action hero Snake Plissken in Escape to New York. Most recently we saw him as a villain in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and as an important supporting actor in the last 3 installments of the Fast and Furious saga.

Jean Reno kick-started his successful career in French films like Léon and The Big Blue. He would later make the leap to Hollywood with roles in Mission: Impossible and Godzilla.

Matt Damon is a very talented and versatile actor, and has excelled in roles of all kinds. But he made his mark as an action hero in the 4 films in which he played agent Jason Bourne. We were able to enjoy his performance recently in the movie The Last Duel, alongside Adam Driver and Jodie Comer.
