What the “Scream” Cast Is Up To Today, 27 Years After Its Premiere

Most of us have probably watched the Scream movies and know that the final movie was just released in March 2023. The only cast member who starred from the very first movie to the last is Courteney Cox, and we are excited to see her in the newer version. 27 years later, Scream is back on the field, and we are so ready to get spooked but also laugh a little.

1. Courteney Cox as Gale Weathers

Courteney Cox is an American actress and filmmaker who became famous for her roles in Friends and Scream. In 2019, she produced a documentary called 9 Months With Courteney Cox, primarily about people of all races, religions, and classes reporting their pregnancy journey. She is also the only actress to be in all 6 Scream movies.

2. Neve Campbell as Sidney Prescott

Neve Campbell is a Canadian actress mainly known for her roles in horror and drama movies. In 1998, she won the MTV Movie + TV Awards for Best Female Performance for Scream 2. In 2022, she joined the Scream cast but didn’t appear in Scream 6 because they wouldn’t match her salary expectations. “I’m forever grateful to you and what this franchise has given me over the past 25 years.” Today, she is starring in The Lincoln Lawyer and was cast in a comedy TV show called Twisted Metal.

3. David Arquette as Dewey Riley

David Arquette is an American actor and former professional wrestler who won a Teen Choice Award for his role as Dewey on Scream. In 2018, he returned to professional wrestling, saying, “I always knew I was wired differently. But it was funny hearing it in a doctor’s office.”

He lives in Los Angeles today with his second wife and their 2 children. His wrestling career was a bit dangerous, so he decided to focus on his family. “I want to be the best person I can for my wife, for my kids, for myself. So it’s like, how do I have fun without being destructive? That’s where I’m at now.”

4. Rose McGowan as Tatum Riley

Rose McGowan is an American actress and activist. She became known after her role on The Doom Generation, but her breakthrough was her role as Tatum on Scream. In 2020, she moved from New York to Mexico; as of 2021, she is a permanent resident of Mexico and lives in Tulum. She says she does not want to move back to the U.S.

5. Matthew Lillard as Stu Macher

Matthew Lillard is an American actor who starred in Scream and played Shaggy Rogers in Scooby-Doo. In 2022, he got cast in Five Nights at Freddy’s, and in 2023 he played in only season 3 of the TV show Chrissy and Abbott as a fictional version of himself. He married Heather Helm in 2000, and they share 3 children in Los Angeles.

6. Jamie Kennedy as Randy Meeks

Jamie Kennedy is an American actor and comedian. Besides Scream, he also had parts in Romeo + Juliet and Good Deeds. Today, he works with a global media company as a comedian and is known to be very funny. Byron Allen, this company’s founder, says, “Jamie Kennedy is absolutely brilliant and hilarious. 7. W. Earl Brown as Kenny Brown

W. Earl Brown is an American actor, screenwriter, producer, musician, and songwriter. He is best known for his role as Kenny on Scream but is well-known for other movies as well. In 2009, he wrote, produced, and was cast in Bloodworth. He writes and performs with a band called Sacred Cowboys as well.

8. Drew Barrymore as Casey Becker

Drew Barrymore is an American actress, director, producer, talk show host, and author. She began her career as a child, starring in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, and has received many awards. She is also the founder of Flower Films, a production company that has produced some of the films she’s starred in. In 2020, she started a talk show called The Drew Barrymore Show and appeared on Martha Knows Best. However, in 2021, she said she is taking a break from acting.

9. Henry Winkler as Principal Arthur Himbry

Henry Winkler is an American actor, comedian, author, producer, and director. He is known for his role on Happy Days, where he appeared in the very first episode (1974) until the end in 1984. Henry received an Emmy for his role as Gene Cousineau on Barry. He married Stacey Furstman in 1978, and they have 2 children, Max and Zoe.

10. Skeet Ulrich as Billy Loomis

Skeet Ulrich is an American actor famous for his roles in Scream, The Craft, and As Good as It Gets. His most recent role is on Riverdale, where he plays FP Jones, and is returning to Scream 5. Skeet has had a couple of relationships throughout his life, but they split due to their differences, and a remarkable fact about him is that he enjoys woodworking.
