With such a huge amount of competition in the tattoo world, artists have to switch on 101% of their imagination to impress their customers. They work hard to create new tattoo techniques that will please people’s eyes and minds. Jenna Kerr is a tattoo artist who definitely takes a sip from the fountain of creativity every day. Her style catches the eye of thousands of people and makes us all gasp in awe.

Here at Bright Side, we do love when common art takes on new shapes and forms and makes us go “Wow!” again and again. We suggest that you take a look at Jenna Kerr’s tattoos, and be prepared — her work may make you love tattoos even more.

The artist had a tough start that was full of hesitation.

Jenna started tattooing later in her life. She confessed that she was lucky to have a friend who introduced her to the tattoo world and to the ink masters who did their jobs well. She almost gave up tattooing at first.

The first shop she worked at could offer her only £25 a week, so she was very close to quitting. Thankfully, she didn’t, because she felt like tattooing was her real calling.

Jenna has a signature style that’s only evolved over time.

The artist confessed to the fact that she’s always loved the art nouveau and baroque styles, which is heavily reflected in her work.

As she says in her interview, her skills developed mainly because she was pushing herself in what she could do and was never shy to experiment with new techniques. There was no switching off for her as an artist. When she leaves work, she still can’t stop thinking about new drawings and ideas. Jenna believes that it’s only natural that when you give your all to the job you do, you inevitably progress.

The tattooist has her favorites among her tattoos

When asked about what the gemstone was that she would never be tired of tattooing, Jenna had a quick response. She says she loves heart-shaped jewels most of all. So, it’s no wonder she’s been doing so many of them lately. Additionally, many of her art pieces show beautiful lady’s faces or life-like animals, which proves Jenna’s style is very tender and feminine.

What is your attitude toward tattoos? Why do you like or not like this art? Would you ever consider getting a tattoo?
