Chris Hemsworth Is the Second Most Handsome Man in the World, According to Science

While what makes someone attractive is subjective, there’s a scientifically-backed method to measure beauty, known as the Golden Ratio. And thanks to plastic surgeon Dr. Julian De Silva, we now know who the most handsome man is, scientifically speaking. Sadly, it’s not the Thor star, Chris Hemsworth, but he still came close, as the second most handsome man.

Chris Hemsworth was dethroned by Regé-Jean Page by only a 0.12% difference in Golden Ratio accuracy.

While the Bridgerton star Regé-Jean Page scored 93.65%, Chris was found to be 93.53% accurate to the Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty Phi — which measures physical perfection. Hemsworth scored the highest for his eye positioning and his face shape. His nose width/length scored the lowest, and it is considered to be his less favorable feature.

Chris was also named People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2014.

Chris Hemsworth has made quite an impact with his dashing portrayal of Thor in Marvel’s The Avengers franchise. His charm, charisma, and rugged good looks made him a fan favorite and the perfect choice for People Magazine’s 2014 Sexiest Man Alive title.

Hemsworth’s talent as an actor, matched by his ruggedly handsome appearance and physique, made him a true triple threat in Hollywood. It’s no wonder he continues to steal hearts and captivate audiences with his talent and looks as the years go by.

He, however, stays modest when it comes to his physical beauty.

In 2022, he was asked how he feels having held the title of Sexiest Man Alive, and he responded laughingly, “[That was] Many, many years ago. I’m past my prime now, so it’s like passing the torch now.”

We, on the other hand, don’t agree with him. At age 39, Chris is as charismatic and handsome as ever.
