Lucky to Be Alive, Ashton Kutcher Thanks Mila Kunis Who Supported Him Through a Rare Disease

When we see celebrities on TV, we often notice only the luxurious parts of their lives, but really, they are people, just like us. They have their ups and downs and may even battle severe diseases. Ashton Kutcher is a famous actor, but still, many of us didn’t know he was diagnosed with a rare form of vasculitis. Recently, he has opened up about this chapter of his life with the public.

“I woke up one day and was having vision issues, could hardly see. Knocked out my hearing, which threw off my equilibrium, my balance, and I couldn’t walk and I had vasculitis,” the actor revealed. The brutal battle started 3 years ago, and his wife Mila Kunis was always by his side.

Kunis shared later, “I don’t think you have time to sit down and talk. You kinda just power through. You go and deal with whatever health issue comes your way, but you still got kids, you still got a family, you have to live life. And I think that we are so fortunate to have one another, but as far as sitting there and incessantly talking about things, no. You gotta do.”

Kutcher opened up about the fact that he had huge physical issues that made life unbearable: “Part of it is this mental thing I have around achieving a full comeback from waking up at the hospital. I was unable to walk, and I was like, ’Wait for a second, if I can go from being unable to walk to running a marathon in 3 years, then I can let that be a part of the past and be like, I’m back. I’m good.”

At the same time, he realized that having a family supporting him during the challenging journey was essential. The value of spending time with his children became his highest priority.

Today, Kutcher’s physician revealed that his eyesight and hearing are now “very close to normal” and even commented that his wife is “amazing” because she was brave and kind despite these serious problems.

“My wife is the best,” the actor confirmed.
