All of us have probably wanted to get a tattoo at least once in our lifetime. Some people dreamed of getting ink when they were rebellious teenagers, others thought about it later in life. Anyway, celebrities are just like us. They also have different tattoos, some of which have a deeper meaning.

At Bright Side, we decided to get a closer look at the tattoos of 14 famous women and find out what secrets they hide.

After Emma Stone’s mother won her battle against a serious disease, both women got matching tattoos. The bird’s footprints honor the mother’s favorite song Blackbird by Paul McCartney. It’s interesting that these tattoos were designed by Paul too.

A couple of years ago, Jessica Alba got 3 minimalistic tattoos that are very meaningful to her. The actress sought out famous artist Doctor Woo to tattoo her children’s zodiac constellations onto her arm.

Alba has 3 children with film producer Cash Warren, who she’s been married to since 2008: Honor, who is a Gemini, Haven, who is a Leo, and Hayes, who is a Capricorn.

Recently, Gomez revealed the meaning behind her new tattoo of a dripping-down rose. Her best friend Cara Delevingne, who got a matching tattoo on her ribcage, calls her “Rosebud.”

Selena said, “I’ve always wanted a rose, and now I got one, and I love it.” Both tattoos were done by the same tattoo artist.

Dakota Johnson seems to be fond of tiny tattoos. Her sixth one is a flower. According to one of the most in-demand tattoo artists, Dr. Woo, this work is an homage to the early 20th-century Austrian painter Egon Schiele.

As for Dakota, she said that even though the design is a little flawed, it’s still a flower, like herself.

Lucy Hale got a matching tattoo with her sister. A tattoo artist recreated the line which was handwritten by the women’s grandmother.

The actress wrote on her Instagram, “Nothing says sisterly bonding more than permanently tattooing your body. After years of wanting our grandmother’s writing, we did it! Our Grammy was our favorite person, and now she’s even more a part of us. Also, my sister is a badass who raises 2 kids, teaches combat classes, and goes on tattoo runs with her baby sister.”

In the past, Madonna opened up, saying that her mother’s death affected her attitude toward life.
